Privacy Policy

Deckly ("the App") is operated by Jack Baldner ("we," "us"). This policy describes what data the App handles. Plain version: we do not collect personal data, do not run analytics, do not track you across apps or websites, and do not sell anything about you to anyone.

What the App stores on your device

• Card collection and decks — quantities of cards you've added and the decks you've built. Stored locally on your device using Core Data. Never transmitted off your device.
• Camera permission — used only by the in-app card scanner to recognize printed card identifiers (e.g. "OP01-001"). Frames are processed on-device by Apple's Vision framework. No video, photos, or images are uploaded anywhere.
• App preferences — last-sync timestamps and similar bookkeeping in UserDefaults.

Network requests the App makes

• Card database — the App fetches the One Piece TCG card catalog (names, attributes, rules text, prices) from the public dotgg API (api.dotgg.gg) on first launch and when you tap "Refresh database" in Settings. No identifiers about you are sent.
• Card images — card art is loaded from en.onepiece-cardgame.com (Bandai's official CDN). Standard HTTP image requests; no identifiers about you are sent.
• Subscription purchases — handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. We do not see your payment information.
• Outbound links — when you tap "Buy missing cards," the App opens TCGplayer in Safari with a pre-filled cart. From that point your interaction is with TCGplayer under their own privacy policy.

Third-party services

The App relies on the following external services as described above:

• api.dotgg.gg — public card data API
• Bandai Co., Ltd. — official card image hosting
• Apple, Inc. — App Store, StoreKit, iCloud (system-level)
• TCGplayer, Inc. — opened in your browser when you tap a purchase link

We have no business relationship with Bandai or Shueisha. We do not have access to or store data from any of these third parties.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone of any age, as it does not collect data at all.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
